Cute start with likable characters
The first two chapters of Seoulmates introduces two likable protagonists. It feels like a grounded YA romance with an intriguing twist with the addition of the K-drama world. From the start it ticks the boxes for the friends to enemies to (probable) lovers and I’m here for that! I am especially drawn in by the promise of how Hannah may be thinking about her identity as she K-Pop and K-Drama grab the attention of her (presumably) white peers as well as the elements of class in Jacob’s experience with fame.
