I would not read this due to reasons of personal preference. I read to escape the world and it's problems- this book may be a little too real for my tastes. I was instantly turned off after reading the first sentence. I don't like first person point of view as it has to be executed exquisitely to enjoy it. The cover definitely has an emotional charge and is hard to look at, so much hatred in one picture. The writing seemed OK so far.
