I thought it was good and Nikki Griffin wasn't quite Lisbeth Salander but she's on her way there. Received a free copy of the book courtesy of BookishFirst and Flatiron Books. Nikki is emphatic to women who have been abused by a man they love turned vigilante. Not sure if Nikki always would have turned out this way or was it because of her family tragedy. The combat/fight skill levels of this woman is amazing and second nature. She has lived her life blaming herself for the family tragedy but it was never her fault. Living in the group home and foster homes until the last family really showed her love and the dad how to box in the ring to gain control of her anger. There were multiple storylines, the big storyline with the smaller stories were good and I like all of the secondary characters, her brother Brandon, Ethan, Charles and Jess. Since this is Book#1, more of Nikki Griffin in the future.
