Strong, bitchy, sarcastic female protagonist - count me in!
I've been desperate for a copy of this book since I first heard about it, and that was BEFORE having the pleasure of reading a preview. This First Look did not let me down and only ramped up my eagerness to get my hands on a copy of this book.
I always gravitate to books with a female lead like this. Strong, confident, sarcastic, and giving no effs about what anyone says to or thinks of her. I love how she's introduced to the reader in this First Look. She's Linda Fiorentino in The Last Seduction and it totally pulls me in.
I don't like the cover. It does nothing to showcase the protagonist's character enough to entice reader to pick up this book.
