First impression of the cover is that it makes me want to pick it up and know what this book is about right away, especially since I’m all about female empowerment and this cover is giving me that vibe. I love the blurb and description of this book, it alone would make me want to buy this book and promote it on my book blog instantly. I enjoy suspenseful stories and those that have women has the main characters and heroines in the story where they don’t need men rescuing them.
I believe that I know whether I will read a book and like it by its first chapter and this book’s first six pages make me want so much more. She sounds like a Jessica Jones bad ass without the super hero powers and I just want more to read. I enjoy the fact she lives above the bookstore, shoots pool,
and enjoys whiskey, finally a booknerd out there seeking revenge on men who are bad. Can we like make shirts and start a club for this character? I’m sure this book is going to get twisted but I’m feeling like so far she may develop a strong fan following amongst the women in America.
