The cover is super mysterious and beautiful just as it is. When I read the excerpt, though, whoa! I was caught by the description beforehand, but now I'm really excited for this book. Awesome writing style. Awesome female character. I love it!
I love the author's descriptions, and just their voice in general. That's a pretty big compliment for me, since I usually wait to read the whole book before saying that an author's style is good. (Sagging middle syndrome, anyone?)
