This first impression is short, but I'm already hooked! Why is Nikki in the bar and what is going to happen with the guy. I'm fairly certain she's not going to sleep with him. I super curious about her background - how did she get to be such a badass?
At first I thought the cover was kind of pretty and didn't think it fit with the character and book description. On closer look though, I can see it's part of a woman's face...and kind of looks like a skull. How does that tie in?
