I absolutely love the first person perspective - seeing everything through the main character's eyes adds a major emotional component to the story. But what I loved the most was how well the author follows the rule of "don't tell me, show me." The description of the space the character was in and the others in that space was so well-done - the image in my head was absolutely crystal clear. I need to read this book!
