I liked the main character from the start. Her way of thinking was a bit clipped, but that is to be expected from a private investigator. She looks for the facts and her surroundings and lists them away in her memory. She does not take any bull from the men at the bar in the beginning and I like her style of handling them. I loved the synopsis and what she does for a living. She sounds like an amazing woman!
