There have been many mystery novels written where the main character, who solves the crime and/or tracks down the bad guy, owns a bookstore but all the ones that come to mind are cozies. This is the first one I can think of where the bookstore owner heroine is a tough chick. This was a very short excerpt and I look forward to reading more.
