This book was pretty good. it was way more intense than I was expecting, but that was probably my fault. I really liked the plot. I think it was interesting to see our main character face her challenges and see the interesting ways she overcame them. I also really liked the characters. I thought they were nicely fleshed out and had interesting backstories. They were realistic and they interacted well with each other. I didn't absolutely love the book though. I thought the pacing was a little weird. In some parts, there was nothing happening and I was very bored. But other parts were very interesting and I wanted to read more. I also thought the villain was kind of flat. Like, they were being a villain just because we needed one to advance the plot, and that's the only reason. I definitely didn't hate this book, but I also definitely didn't love it. I think some people could really like it.
