While I liked the preview of the book enough to spend my points to get a free copy of the book through this site, ultimately, it was a let down. I felt like the characters were not fully developed, the settings were a bit flat, and it seemed like, after the initial early push in the story, the book lost all of its momentum. Quite frankly, I didn't have any reason to care about the characters, and so I didn't. I tried for four weeks to give it away and absolutely no one would take it. I ended up donating it once the local store reopened for donations, and I would have forgotten about it entirely if I hadn't logged in and seen the notification that the site was waiting on me to review it since I used points to get it. Oh well, live and learn.
