The book Savage Legion revolves around three main characters intertwining plotts.
First we have Evie. Evie is plucked off the streets following a drunken brawl to be thrown in the Savage Legion for use in the cities distraction army.
Next we have Slider who almost shared the same fate due to her lack of useable legs. Instead she winds up on an island with the cities planners and inventors.
And last we have Lexi, whose husband has gone missing after he gathers evidence of the corruption within the city.
This book was not an easy read. I was bored with more than half the book, not attached to any of the characters and felt it was lacking in detail leaving me confused at times. I was not even sure I would bother reading book two should it be released.
But the story did pick up about two thirds of the way in and I was left with a cliff hanger. I can only hope that book two will precede with the pace book one finally ended with.
