Matt Wallace has created a fascinating universe in his latest fantasy novel Savage Legion. He also packs a lot into his writing: first few pages drops us into this new world with rigid social structures and strange customs while also setting up the primary conflict and acquainting the reader with the protagonist. It's a promising start, and I look forward to reading the rest of the novel.
