Even though I was trying hard to overcome my bias that this genre isn’t one that I enjoy, I failed. First, the cover alludes to unsettling violence and warfare. I also found the color choice to be agitating. Not to be deterred, I did give the text a try but was unable to get past the first 3 pages.
