Okay so to start off being clear, this just isn't my genre. I like to fall into a book and when it comes to fantasy I have a hard time doing that because I get distracted. I don't know how to pronounce the made up names and words. I don't understand how the world works like what do the bugs in the lap eat? Who feeds them? It's too distracting for me. That being said the writing in the book is very descriptive and lyrical and I liked that. The cover could use some work, maybe if the girl looked more real.
