I don't know that I have a lot to go off in the summary, given that it only touts its diversity and vaguely mentions fantasy and action and things of that nature, but I do know that I like high fantasy action and adventure as well as diverse casts, so I'd probably read this anyway. It just wouldn't be the first thing on my list. I'm hoping that the contents of the story change my mind.
