This book is definitely a high fantasy novel, with a large amount of world building. I personally don't enjoy the cover, but that's likely because this isn't exactly my preferred type of reading. However, I enjoyed the writing style, even though it isn't my type of book, and I think those who enjoy this type of book would really enjoy this story.
