Already, there's mystery and perhaps a bit of rebellion. Lexi as a character seems to know exactly what she's doing and how. She wants to get to the bottom of things. I also really connected with Teru - a nonbinary character! It's so rare for me to read a book of this genre with an openly nonbinary character. The book itself seems to be very well written, and I'm very interested in what will happen next!
