I've been loving all of the sci-fi and fantasy titles we've been getting recently on BookishFirst! Savage Legion is no exception.
The preview was pretty short and not a lot happened plot-wise, but the establishment of the setting was well done. It didn't try info dumping everything in the beginning without moving the story along, and introduced some interesting concepts like Gens and characters I'm excited to learn more about. I was so very pleasantly surprised to see that one of the characters is nonbinary, or "undeclared" as it's described in this book's universe.
