This is not my normal type of thriller, but I did enjoy the story. The writing was good, but I did feel that the character development could have been a little better. I also didn’t buy the love interest/romance side story. But the main story was gripping and very interesting and scarily realistic. Former FBI agent Tyler Jackson has been hunting for a rogue CIA agent only known as Daemon ever since he ruined Tyler’s life in a bust gone wrong that cost Tyler his fiancé and his job. Tyler has a band of morally flexible partners who are helping him track down the money Daemon stole from the Russians. There are more layers of plots going on and the cyber talk about how the tracking happens went a little over my head, but it sounded realistic enough. All together this was a fun and gripping adventure full of intrigue and espionage with a side of violence and betrayal.
