I did not receive this in time to review for publication day, alas, but here I am now! Satan's Gold looked great when I saw the first impression and I was lucky enough to get a copy to read. This is a fast paced style book. I felt the story hopped around quickly in some parts, but that might have just been me. Overall I did really enjoy this novel. The main character in this book is easy to understand and I found myself rooting for him to get to where he was going. I really do not want to say anymore about the plot of the story for fear of giving something away! And yes, you do want to be surprised while reading this book!
Satan's Gold is a thriller in a way and while usually I do not find myself reading these types of books I have noticed they have picked up in being offered by bookishfirst. This one was good, especially near the end when things got going! Nice!
