This book seems heavily genre and the writing seems fast-paced but flat, intended to move a complex plot along. The premise and set-up seems interesting but as this isn't the type of book I usually read, it's hard for me to compare it to other similar books. Someone who's more familiar with the genre might well enjoy it.
