It’s hard to tell if this is a standalone Book or part of a series. I love that the first chapters take place in Chicago with lots of local detail. Other than that, this starts almost like a detective novel. Jackson and Dixie are tracing Daemon’s money. It’s obvious that Jackson has a score to settle.
