Whoa, this book loved FAST and there was so much going on. This book was all over the place and it was intense trying to keep up with everything. I am not at all surprised that this was adpated into film, it read like a novelized movie if I'm being honest. There was really no time to recover from one scene when you are hurled into the next. I am not a huge fan of military thrillers, so this is not a favorite of mine, but I am happy to have read it. I would not have picked this up on my own, but I will be looking for McNabb from now on.
The cover is eye catching and is really the reason I was drawn to this book, it's simple and perfectly fitting. I was on the edge of my seat throughout the whole book, but somehow I was still left with feeling that something was missing. The story didn't seem all that important to me once finished. The whole time your waiting for revelation or hidden secrets but overall, I was left wanting something different
