I really enjoyed reading this book! It was a modern retelling of Romeo and Juliet. The two main characters families have been in a feud for years. I think that this was a cute little story. I loved learning about the characters and the rivalry and how it started. I also loved hearing about the food that was being made throughout the book! This book is great for anyone who wants a little young adult romance.
This book isn’t something that I would normally choose to pick up, but I am glad I did. The story seemed to be very well thought out and the characters didn’t seem flat. They each had their own personality and went through some character development by the end of the story. The storyline was a great mixture of different things such as romance, family drama, and dealing with the loss of a loved one. The pacing of the book was also done well. It did not seem rushed or like it was dragging.
