Right away I knew this was going to be an emotional read when it starts of with the death of a loved one who has always been part of your life. I enjoyed how the characters all seemed so real. I also enjoyed the promised bakery rivalry and am intrigued why Lari was never allowed to learn to cook when it was the family business.
