I take grandmothers and the bond with a grandmother very seriously, so reading that this garbage family is FLAUNTING their successful theft of a client, on the day of grandma's funeral no less, had me enraged. This should be a sweet little rom-com, but I am infuriated and I normally don't like cliffhanger endings on the excerpts, but knowing she's about to absolutely demolish (accidentally) their fancy three-tiered wedding cake, I was like YES!!! RUIN IT!!! Did I just get way too invested in 20-something pages of this excerpt? Absolutely. I need this book!
