Oh my gosh, I love the writing style. The first chapter was enough to set the scene and develop backstop. It drew me in until I was itching to read the rest. The emotions behind the scene came through clearly, I already connected to the character and felt the grief and changes she is going through. As first chapters go, these are some of the best I have read and I definitely want to read the rest of the story based on them alone. The writing is powerful, it's great
