The Sweetest Rom-Com
I loved reading this book. It was my first introduction into Christina Lauren and it was extremely charming and sweet. Both of the main characters felt well drawn and complex and they had growing amounts of tension as the story progressed. The conflicts they faced being in a green card marriage felt real and the stakes were high. I know very little about the ins and outs of the US immigration system, but the details seemed to be well researched and well-thought out. The backdrop of the city of New York is always so romantic and the way that they were discovering it together having both lived there for a little while was incredibly endearing. It felt as if it was another character and an amazing addition to the story.
