I have wanted to read a Christina Lauren book for quite some time now, I've heard nothing but positive reviews. I have always enjoyed a good forced proximity/friends to lovers type romance, and this novel certainly has both. I loved watching these two charachters get to know each other, and discover each others secrets, while living under the same roof essentially as strangers.
While I can't imagine a life where I would marry someone because I thought it might better my work opportunities, it was a ton of fun to read exactly that scenario.
Not only did I think the two main characters were a lot of fun, all of the side characters were also extremely likable, which made for an easily readable novel.
