Christina Lauren books never fail to give me a good mix of romance, fun, laughter and heartbreak. This novel is about a woman who gets into a fake marriage to allow a non-citizen to perform in her uncle’s broadway show. You can guess from the get go how the novel turns out as romances typically aren’t known for their unpredictability but I enjoyed the journey getting to the end result. The protagonist is easy to root for and the characters in general are well portrayed and likable. The main characters have an interesting relationship to say the least and it’s fun to watch it unfold. I always enjoy how Christina Lauren adds witty banter to her novels and they never fail to disappoint. Solid 4 star read.
