I really, really enjoyed this book! It isn't my favorite by this duo, it fell a tiny bit short of how much I liked Josh and Hazel’s Guide to Not Dating or My Favorite Half-Night Stand, so I think I’m going with four stars.

This follows Holland Baker, and Calvin (a musician that she hears perform at the subway station). He saves her from a bad situation, and when she finds out he is in the United States illegally and needs a green card, she offers to marry him so that he can stay and perform on Broadway. Fake dating is one of my favorite tropes, so I enjoyed that aspect of it.

There wasn't really anything specific I can point to wrong, but I didn’t get as caught up and cry along with the characters when something went wrong or laugh as much as I’d hoped to. It wasn't at all bad, just missing a spark I felt with the other ones.

I loved the characters - especially her Uncles, one of whom is a famous music director, who offers Calvin a job.
