Getting this book in The Bookish Box was the deciding factor for cancelling that subscription box - the book was that bad. It was just plain terrible. If I wanted to watch the plot from The Proposal, I'd just watch the movie, which has far better writing, better character development, and is basically better in every way. This book had poor grammar, poor style, and a stolen plot. It was a great big waste of time. This book was so bad that I feel like if I ever met someone who enjoyed it, I would just have to walk away. There are dozens of reviews on Goodreads that call this one "cute" but either these people have literally never stepped foot in a theater, never watched a romcom, or never read any other book - it was honestly garbage.
