Roomies is an adorable novel that is about Holland, who has a big crush on a subway performer Calvin. After helping him get him offered his dream job, they get married to allow him to stay in the country. What follows is a funny, sexy, and addicting adventure in love.
Holland is a really lovable narrator and I related to her story in a way I think many people can relate to and Calvin is A plus book boyfriend (or in this case husband) material, with a lovable Irish charm I was hooked from the start.
I really loved how much of the book was about Broadway and centers around theater culture as well as the beauty of music as a uniting force. The side characters weren't hard to keep track of like they are in other books for me.
My only complaint is that there isn't more of it. I've read many Christina Lauren books and this one is now my favorite.
