A marriage of convenience story between a subway musician and a girl who works at her uncles Broadway theater. Holland has seen the mysterious musician in the subway and goes out of her way to watch him play. When Holland is attached the musician Calvin comes to her rescue. This sparks their contact and Holland is able to talk to the man she’s been admiring. Calvin is in the US on an expired student visa and when Holland finds out she impulsively offers to marry him so he can be in her uncles musical. They go from strangers to married roommates within days of meeting.
