I had been a huge fan of Christina Lauren since their Beautiful series. These two writers take you on a wonderful trip.
This is my third time reading a book by them. They make there characters hot and fresh. They take your average self conscious girl and take her out of her comfort zone.
In this novel she takes a sweet natured Holland to meet an edgier out of the box musician. Calvin portrays himself as an aloof musician. He seems to have a side of him that is mysterious.
Calvin is I believe underneath it a a big tender heart. He stays with Holland in a time of need. He trys to come to Holland's rescue when for a lack of a better word bum attempts to assault her. No average man who didn't care might not have done what he did.
