This was my first book by Christina Lauren. I heard of the author on booktube and decided to give Roomies a try after reading the synopsis.
I found this book to be entertaining and I completely understood when Holland wondered if she was just a side character in her life. I felt like I could relate to Holland in some ways.
This story follows Holland who finds an Irish musician, Calvin, that plays in a subway station regularly. When Holland's uncle is in desperate need for a new lead musician for his Broadway show Holland takes her uncle to hear Calvin. The only catch is he can't work for the Broadway show even though he and everyone who works at the Broadway wants him to. Holland comes up with a crazy way for Calvin to be able to work there but will it work out? And what will happen when he finds out she was practically stalking him to hear him play at the subway station regularly?
I enjoyed this book and am definitely going to check out other books by Christina Lauren.
