I was immediately hooked! I love Christina Lauren books and her writing style truly captures you from the start. I love her use of language and how she can so easily create a character that you can’t help but relate to.
Character development was quick and I’m already invested in all of them. The Holland/LuLu BFF dynamic is adorable and I can’t wait to read more about these two. The care Holland’s guncles give her in such a harsh city is refreshing. I am soooo so curious to learn more about Calvin! This book is classified as a romance but it has a great sense of mystery to it as well, which can be so hard to pull off.
I flew through these first few chapters and will absolutely be adding this book to my TBR asap. Four stars so far because I truly don’t know where this book is headed and the rest of it can either drastically decrease or maintain/ improve the rating. I look forward to reading more soon!
