Any time I come across a Christina Lauren novel, I'm excited to pick it up, because I know that I will immediately fall in love with the characters, and Roomies is no different! The character development in Roomies is great; while reading, I really felt like I could connect to Holland, and could picture as being one of my close friends - that's how well written and relatable the characters are. The relatability and personality of the characters is really what sold this book for me, and was what kept me rooting for the unlikely love story full of mishaps between Holland and Calvin. The book was fully of witty banter, that kept me smiling the entire time I was reading; it was a perfect mix of witty fun and drama. There is only one complaint that I have about this book is that I couldn't put it down --- and ended up not getting much sleep as a result!!
