Holland work for her famous uncle while she tries to find herself.
Calvin is a subway musician who is in the country illegally after his student visa expires.
Holland gets hurt on the subway, and in a turn of events she gets her uncle to listen to Calvin play. He loves Calvin of course and wants him in his new show (even though he plays the guitar). Calvin can't play, so Holland offers to marry him to make her uncle happy - and because she has a huge crush on Calvin.
Now, the part that annoyed me was their misunderstandings... they were just kind of trivial to me (Well, except for the whole Calvin family misunderstanding thing, that was super messed up Calvin!). And the Holland's big "spirit quest" seemed a little contrived. Maybe that's because I'm a bit out of the millennial bracket... overall there was our HEA, and it was definitely well written.
