I have read a few of Christina Lauren's books and have not been disappointed. It was the same for Roomies. My only peeve was how teeny-boperish Holland acted at times. I loved the uniqueness of this story, and I mean hello...an Irish guy! Yes please!

Holland is quite a character. She tends to lean towards immature at times, to me, and that made it a bit hard to push through, but didn't take away from her story too much. Her predicament in the subway was a bit rushed but worked to get Calvin involved in her life, even though that was totally NOT how she wanted to get him to notice her!

Calvin, oh Calvin, that accent. YUM. Musically talented and that hot Irish accent, he was simply to die for! I am such a sucker for a male character with an accent (I mean hello Jamie Fraser),and I do have Irish in my blood and background so Calvin totally gets an A+ from me. His willingness to go about the plan to marry a girl he doesn't know so he can remain in the states is an old story but worked along well with the whole Broadway Star is born plot. I like when there are different themes in a story, like the broadway and music but not the usual rock star douchbag plots.

All in all, a great story. Different. Steamy. Charming. All of the usual you get from a Christina Lauren book!
