I’ve heard nothing but amazing things about Christina Lauren’s writing so I was really excited to read ROOMIES, and it did not disappoint. I already really love a fake dating trope but throw in a marriage of convenience and I am all there.

I really liked the main character and her journey, as this was not just a romance but it was also about the MC learning to pursue her goals. I really liked the love interest and I thought the two main characters had a lot of chemistry.

The only thing that I didn’t love as much about the book is that I expected it to be a bit more steamy. A lot of ROOMIES was spent in personal monologues and while I think that makes sense for commercial fiction, that does seem to take away from what Christina Lauren is generally known for, if that makes sense. Still, overall, I do recommend this book!
