Holland and Calvin already seem like they would make SUCH a cute couple! I love the story's setting in New York, especially as we're taken on Holland and Calvin's journeys to achieve their dreams, of a writer and musician, respectively. Their dynamic is fun and adorable. Also, the secondary characters (namely, Holland's uncles and her friend Lulu) are memorable and hilarious as well.
New York is definitely a city of dreamers, and already the book seems to capture the city's unique and bustling (albeit if not always pretty) vibe perfectly. The cover is also really unique in that it's prominent of New York's skyline, and also clever with the use of the two rings to spell out "Roomies" for the marriage-of-convenience trope. I'm so excited to see how Holland and Calvin's relationship develops! I'm sure this is going to be another fun read from Christina Lauren!
