I love to read books about NYC. It is one of my favorite settings. This book has a promising beginning. Why is Calvin unwilling to tell the police that he saw Holland get pushed onto the tracks? How did he become a member of the band Loose Springstein? How can Holland find meaningful employment in Manhattan? Just reading the first four chapters has drawn me into the world of Holland and Calvin and I want to see more.
