Roomies is a catchy title, so it kind of grabbed my eye even if I had no idea what the story was all about. The cover was also attractive it definitely evokes the city that never sleeps.
Right from the first words I definitely was hooked. Holland's character was friendly, girl next door and basically likable that you as a reader definitely want to continue reading and finding out what happens next.
