I didn't really care one way or another about the cover, but the description sounded good, so I read the sample. Holland comes off as a little bit whiney, though in fairness, she has reason at least. The end of the excerpt doesn't make it to the situation in the description, but the seeds are there. I think this book could be good or it might end up disappointing. I don't know, but I am interested in finding out.
