Cute, fun opening chapters
The narrator is immediately catchy, being easily relatable, quirky, and endearingly insecure in a way that is familiar to most women. So, too, her crush on the street musician is one that we can laugh at alongside her, but also easily find an escape within. I don't love the cover image for this book, it feels oddly dated circa the 90s. But it reads like a fun rom-com, and one that I think will appeal to many readers!
