A great start! As always these authors give the reader a wonderful foundation of who the character of Holland is through her internal thoughts and descriptions of her surroundings. I also like that Calvin’s complete story hasn’t been revealed yet. He’s still a mystery to the reader and Holland, and I’m looking forward to seeing where the story goes from where this glimpse ended.
