Rise of the Superheros is a fascinating look in to the history of the superheros who have become a world wide phenomenon. Superheroes have now become a multi-million dollar enterprise with books, movies, television shows, and even theme parks dedicated to them. It is interesting to be able to look back and see where it all began. I enjoyed the historical content as well as the vibrant pictures and the special features such as the Pop Culture timeline and the Super fan story. I also really liked the In My Neighborhood section. Seeing the impact that a personal connection to these comics had a someones life was very interesting. The book is also very visually appealing, with bright colors and appealing layout.
